HP Smart Printer & Scanner ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is published by Mobile Alchemy Ltd. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Summary

• The App processes your photos, documents and scans on your device. Files you choose to print never leave your device except to be sent directly to your selected printer.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• We do not see, store, or transmit the contents of your prints, scans, or faxes to our servers.
• Subscription billing is handled by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive your payment information.

Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you use the App's features, you may give it access to your Photos library, Camera, Files, Contacts, Local Network and Bluetooth — all of which require explicit iOS permission prompts. We use these strictly to perform the requested action (print, scan, fax) and not to collect data about you.

Subscription and purchase data. When you subscribe to Premium, Apple processes the transaction. We receive a transaction receipt confirming subscription status (active / expired / trial), but no card details, billing addresses or other payment information.

Anonymous analytics. The App uses Adapty for subscription analytics (which features are used, conversion rates) and may use Apple's standard analytics frameworks. These collect aggregated, anonymous usage statistics — no personally identifying data.

Crash reports. If the App crashes, anonymous diagnostic information is sent to help us fix bugs. No personal content (photos, documents, scans) is included.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We share limited data only with:

• Apple — for App Store payment processing and required platform integrations
• Adapty (adapty.io) — for subscription management and anonymous analytics
• Your selected fax provider — when you send a fax, the recipient number and document content are transmitted directly to the third-party fax service to deliver the fax

Data Storage

The App stores its data locally on your device. Print history, favorites, and app preferences are kept in your device's local storage and may be backed up via Apple's iCloud backup if you have it enabled.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights

You can:

• Revoke any permission granted to the App via iOS Settings → HP Smart Printer & Scanner
• Delete the App at any time, which removes all locally stored data
• Cancel your subscription via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Request deletion of any analytics records by emailing us

International Users

The App is available worldwide. By using it, you understand that your information may be processed in the country where Mobile Alchemy Ltd. operates.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted in App Store release notes.
