That includes HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Lexmark, Xerox, Kodak, Samsung, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Dell, Kyocera, Pantum, OKI and dozens of other brands. As long as your printer is on the same Wi-Fi network, Print Smart will discover and use it.

How do I print from my Mac to any Wi-Fi printer?

Download Print Smart for Mac from the Mac App Store. Open it, click "Setup printer" in the sidebar, and the app will discover printers on your Wi-Fi network. Drag any PDF, image, or Office document into the app — or use File → Open — and the macOS print dialog will appear with your printer pre-selected. No drivers required.

Is Print Smart for Mac the same as the iPhone version?

It's the same product line and feature set, rebuilt natively for macOS. The Mac version uses sidebar navigation instead of a tab bar, supports drag-and-drop, integrates the standard Mac print dialog, and adds Mac-only conveniences like Continuity Camera document scanning and on-device document translation (macOS 15+). Both apps share the same 23 PDF tools, 60+ printable templates, and branded QR code generator.

Is Print Smart free?

Yes, Print Smart is free to download on both iOS and Mac. The free tier lets you print up to 3 pages per day and includes the document scanner, basic PDF tools, and printer setup. Can I scan documents with Print Smart?

Yes. On iPhone and iPad, use the camera to auto-detect document edges, deskew, and save as a multi-page searchable PDF with OCR. On Mac, you can scan using Continuity Camera with your iPhone, or batch-import existing scans and combine them into a single PDF. Print Smart's scanner runs entirely on-device — your documents never leave your device.

Does Print Smart support sending faxes?

Yes. Print Smart can send faxes to any number worldwide without a fax machine or landline. A built-in country-code selector handles international dialing, and you can attach PDFs, scans, or photos directly from the app. Fax sends are paid (typical $0.99–$1.99 per page depending on destination).

Is Print Smart private and secure?

Print Smart is privacy-first. All printing, scanning, OCR, ID photo generation, and QR code creation happens on-device. We never upload your documents to our servers. The print connection itself uses IPP-over-TLS (IPPS) for encrypted transfer to your printer when supported. No account is required to use the app.
